Excelent display of Peruvian/fussion food.
The customers area is modernly decorated and with no excess at all. There area bar and large groups areas. Location is great, at The Palms Town & Country in Kendall, Miami. Free and easy parking, look for Blue Martini, it's next to it.
We just went to meet the place on last Valentine's. And I advice to make reservations on these types of occasions. No matter how packed the restaurant was, we were sitted promptly.
Despite of the crowded place, we were attended with excellent presicion and tenderness.
After careful study of the menu we decided to order the almost standard an universal Ceviche Traditional as a sharing appetizer, wich consist of fresh mahi, classic leche de tigre, cancha, choclo and sweet potato, (Relax, in the web page, inside the beverages*spirits*beers menu, you'll find the definitions for most Peruvian culinary terms). http://www.piscoynazca.com/
For entree my wife ordered a classic Lomo Saltado - which by the way - were very well executed and properly sided, (Stir fry tenderloin, soy sauce, vinegar, onions, tomato wedges arroz con choclo).
I chose the Pargo Crocante...superb!. Consist of deep fried whole snapper, they take the white meat inside and make like fish nuggets, and serve it with the rest of the fish as furnish with an out-of-this-world spicy asian sauce and arroz chaufa blanco.
All this stuff very well escorted by a bottle of Terrazas de los Andes, Malbec 2012. A fine argentine tinto empowered enough to carry on the duty.
My little daughter wanted something special for dessert, you may watch the following video to get some idea about it:
Pisco y Nasca is - without a doubt - one the best Peruvian restaurants in Miami. For reservations:
